The Hardcore Encyclopedia is back! Stephen is here, so you know what that means. It's time to review some good coffee and some great albums. "Beth, my wife of 30 years, and the love of my life, has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in her pelvic floor. She has already had two surgeries but this is just the beginning. The doctors have said that she's going to need chemotherapy in addition to other surgeries which will involve seeing specialists and could stretch well into the year. She has an extremely positive attitude and wants to fight. She is even looking into alternative means of healing. Unfortunately all of this is going to cost quite a bit of money. Honestly I don't even know how much to ask for in the goal, so it may change. Beth has already beat cancer once when she had a radical hysterectomy due to uterine cancer in 2008. Anyone who has had someone in their family with cancer knows that it affects your everyday life. Beth and I have three wonderful children who will do their best to help, but I will need to be by her side for some of these treatments and appointments which means missing days of work occasionally. At this point I have no idea what the medications cost because our last experience with cancer was completely different. Naturally, we have some fear and trepidation but Beth is being very positive and we are going to help her get through this. Please search your heart and give as much as you can.
