On this weeks programme we are joined by Sr Caitriona of the Dominican Sisters of St Cecilia (aka Nashville Dominicans) originally from Wexford who shares with us her faith journey up to and including joining  the Nashville Dominicans to now being the leader of that community in Limerick.

Sr Caitriona fills in the gaps as she is now over 10 years a sister with  the Dominican Sisters of St Cecelia and working in Limerick city. She also shares her thoughts on the future of the Church in Ireland and her encouragement to those struggling with their faith these days

In addition she shares with us some the events that the sisters will be facilitating over the next few weeks.

We have our regular run through the saints of the week including a couple of new changes to the liturgical calendar this week by Pope Francis and of course our reflection on the Sunday gospel.

Glenstal Events
Lent at the Abbey 2021 - This year’s series of Lenten talks follows the Gospel readings for each Sunday of Lent and draws insights from the Rule of Benedict. These Gospel texts have been specially chosen to prepare Christians for Easter and especially candidates who are to receive baptism at Easter. Benedict’s rule includes much teaching material for those receiving baptism and so can helpfully complement every Christian’s preparation for Easter. The speakers will draw treasures new and old from these readings and from the wisdom of Benedict to help equip contemporary Christians in their journey towards Easter and the promise of new life that it brings. Talks will be streamed live from the Monastery Oratory on Saturdays at 2pm and be available as recordings for viewing later. Both the steaming and recordings will be posted on the abbey website at www.glenstal.org./abbey/webcam
