On this weeks programme John and Shane chat with Christine Hoctor who is one of the chaplains in Limerick prison. We have our regular notices, run through the saints of the week and a brief reflection on the Sunday gospel which poses the question to each of us as to "who do you say Jesus is"? 

One of the corporal works of mercy is to "visit prisoners" and is a reminder to us that people in prison are still people, made in the image and likeness of God.  No matter what someone has done, they deserve the opportunity to hear the Word of God and find moments of encounter with the Divine and grace even in the midst of their circumstances.

On this weeks programme we have a discussion with Christine Hoctor about her work as prison chaplain in Limerick prison and what it means to be a presence to those who are serving time behind the high walls on Mulgrave Street in Limerick city.
