Show Notes:Robert 'Bobby' Axelrod is the CEO of Axe Capital.A self made Wall Street billionaire with one of the most successful hedge funds in the business, Bobby Axelrod enjoys all the trappings of his success. The monster mansion, private jet, helicopter rides, and personal chef, therapist, physician, and trainer. Axe doesn't forget his humble roots, or the fact that he survived 9/11 by a fluke, or so we are lead to believe. Although Axe's intentions are good, the temptations of greed and power are enormous and the lines between right and wrong in high finance are blurry at best. Axe is a smart player to never reveal his full hand to anybodyCharles 'Chuck' Rhoades, Jr. is the former United States Attorney for Southern District of New York and the current Attorney General of New York.Brilliant and brash, U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is leading the fight against financial corruption in America. As the most powerful prosecutor in the country, he's won 81 insider trading cases -- and lost zero. But when criminal evidence turns up against wunderkind billionaire Bobby Axelrod, Chuck recognizes that he needs to proceed judiciously. Is his excess of caution due to his professionalism, or the fact that his wife works for Axelrod?Wendy Rhoades. M.D.,  is the wife of Chuck Rhoades and the performance coach at Axe Capital.A psychiatrist by trade, Wendy Rhoades combines an avid intellect with a keen understanding of human nature. She used those skills to help Bobby Axelrod build his hedge fund from the ground up and now works as the company's star in-house performance coach. Wendy joined Axe Capital long before Chuck became the U.S. Attorney and she refuses to sacrifice her lucrative career for her husband's crusade.Mike 'Wags' Wagner is the COO of Axe CapitalBobby Axelrod's right hand man is the COO of Axe Capital, Mike 'Wags' Wagner. Wags is a patrician WASP who still has to work for a living, and no one has ever kissed ass with more aplomb. But he truly does have Bobby's back, for which his boss rewards him handsomely.Taylor Amber Mason is the CEO of Mason Capital and the former CIO at Axe Capital.Taylor is a brilliant, young gender non-binary intern at Axe Capital whom Bobby spots and mines for 'their ' outside-the-box way of thinking. At any given time, Taylor is usually the smartest person in the room.Bryan Connerty is the U.S. Attorney for the southern district of New York.Chuck Rhoades' right hand man in the U.S. Attorney's office is Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney Bryan Connerty. A tough, idealistic lawyer from a modest background, Connerty admires Chuck and shares his zeal for righting wrongs. In fact, Connerty's commitment to justice may exceed his boss's.Charles 'Chuck' Rhoades, Sr. is the father of Charles 'Chuck' Rhoades, Jr. and a wealthy businessman.Chuck Rhoades' father is a wealthy, blue blood realtor and New York businessman. He is both his son's advocate and a thorn in his side, as he still has his hand in various Wall Street dealings that make his son squirm. Their relationship is deep but complicated, and Chuck, Jr.'s disdain for his father's relationship with money played a role in his own career choice."Dollar" Bill SternStern is a trader at Axe Capital, and one of the guys who have been with Bobby the longest. His loyalty is beyond question.Orrin BachBach is the in-house lawyer for Axe Capital, and used to teach law at NYU. As Bobby's attorney, he advises Bobby on how to deal with Chuck's investigation and is often privy to his client's schemes to dodge scrutiny. Does not waver from his support of Bobby, through investigations and allegations and all the might of the U.S. Attorney's office gunning for him. His loyalty is to Bobby and Bobby alone, even when Lara tries to bribe him and consult him for divorce advice. He turns her down flat, reminding her Bobby pays him well enough that she'd have to triple the bribe just to get his attention.Ari SpyrosSEC official who is a thorn in Chuck's side at the Attorney General's office. He becomes the compliance officer at Axe Capital.Dudley MafeeNot as smart as Axe, not as tough as Dollar Bill, not as funny as Wags, not as intuitive as Taylor. Mafee is a solid employee, but he doesn't excel in the way that most of the others at Axe Cap do. Mafee has dopey personality and taste of a teenage. Grew up in Aurora, Colorado, and is the only one of his friends who does not live there or have to worry about pocket money anymore. The Vest!Business Bros Wearing Fleece Vests on Wall Street & Silicon ValleyPatagonia mocks Wall Street on Twitter after revealing plans to cut financial companies off from their beloved branded fleece vestsHow the vest became Wall Street’s bulletproof armorEveryone but us has the merch; should we start our own?Fixed Cost Financial, Inc.
