For 30 years, Dr. Powell worked with the Los Angeles Police Department, spending several years in their vice unit. Since her retirement, she has spent almost a decade working with victims and survivors of sexual exploitation. During this conversation, Dr. Powell talks with host Garrett Jonsson about sex trafficking, survivor empowerment, and what it will take to have a paradigm shift in the way we view, help, and treat survivors of sex trafficking.
