I ask all my clients to get legal advice when they are going through separation. When I have that conversation I often find that people don't want to go to a lawyer.  They are scared of lawyers for different reasons. They think that if they speak to a lawyer, it will make the conflict get worse and that lawyers just want to go to court and not help resolve the issues.

I agree that it is important you get a good lawyer that suits your needs. Someone who gives you options and is there to support you so you can make the best decisions possible.

In this episode I speak with Vincent Tan who is a partner at Clairs Keeley and I ask him what he believes his role is as a family lawyer. What you should look out of in choosing your lawyer and other questions.

This episode will give you clarity on why you need legal advice and how to best go about it.

Please share this episode with anyone who needs it!
