Brian and his wife Jamie (AKA JJ) have been leaders in our church for years. Volunteering in almost every department and now leading the leaders of our Men’s and Women’s Small Groups.

Brian Jobe is a father of 3, and works at Kaiser Francis Oil Company. To say he loves the outdoors is probably the understatement of the year. Brian started a ministry to men, called MOUNTAIN MEN, which is growing exponentially.Breakfast notes:Things i.e. cars, houses, jobs, accomplishments, or even people can't get give you fulfillment. They ultimately cannot satisfy your soul.Matt. 22:37 - Love the Lord your God with all you heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.Is the thing we are asking for from God lined up with His will? Are we asking the right questions? Our Creator created or designed us all with our own individual purpose. Example: You can’t make a minivan a sports car. The manufacturer designed it to haul people, not race around the track at the Indy 500.Matt. 7:7-12 – ASK. SEEK. KNOCK.Deliberately ask, seek, and knock and our Lord promises we will find His purpose for our lives.
Yes, there is risk involved. It may lead you down a path you didn't even plan on. Trust the Lord.Mountains are illustrated all through Jesus' ministry. Mountains are not the goal. Mountains are a teaching tool to direct us towards a deeper relationship with the Lord.Seeking God corporately as men leads to an individual encounter with Him. Do not isolate yourself. You set up yourself for failure when you do. Have a core group of Godly men in your life. WHO’S YOUR CIRCLE? Be bold, pray first and God will put just the right men, at the right time in your life!Just like climbing a mountain with a group of men you'll find that you have your own incredible individual experience. Are you asking for more God? What sin or bad habits do you need to leave behind to wholly seek God?Matt. 7:13-14 - ...broad is the gate...Matt. 7:21-23 - ...I never knew you...Perspective from Dandy Oskey, a 56 year-old HEALED man of our church who has ALS (Lou Gehrigs disease):Two ways to live your life:1) As if nothing is a miracle
2) As if everything is a miracle.Homework:Matthew 5:1-48The Sermon on the Mount
