Episode 55: Startup Stories: Al Grasso, Allegheny City Brewing - a podcast by Bryan Tuk

"It represents community, partnership, collaboration."

In Pittsburgh's northside district, Al Grasso and his partners are not only building a craft brewery and tap house, they are building a community in a neighborhood not far from where they grew up.   It is, in many ways, a classic Pittsburgh story.  Kids grow up, they leave, they return and they stay for the long haul.

The founders of Allegheny City Brewing are doing the hard work, making connections with and between patrons that will endure long term.
