So great to talk to Valerie Slott in this space. We have. known each other for awhile but got a much deeper dive into knowing who she really is and what lights her up. She approaches life with such joy in all aspects of what she does. We talked about travel, tie dying, ice cream and so much more..

Val wakes up each morning thankful for another day. She has love in her life, work that brings her joy, and many opportunities to be creative. Val is an elementary school counselor and the tie-dye part of the women's art collective We Tie-Dye and More.
 
She delights in sharing what she loves whether mentoring future school counselors or hosting tie-dye adventures, or spreading out her bead collection on the dining room table and inviting others to create.
 
Val loves adding color and spreading joy. She also loves ice cream!
