Pastor Lynn continues our series on the names of God with an emphasis on Jehovah Tsidkenu--the Lord our Righteousness. We can not be made right without Jesus' work on the cross which gives us His righteousness. The philosophies of the world tell us that we are right in ourselves. The pride of humanity shouts "we don't need rescuing or saving!" The greatest barrier to salvation and walking in Christ's righteousness is the deception that we do not need saving and we do not need Christ's righteousness! The lie that we can do it on our own! But the truth is we do need saving and until we receive Christ we live in a broken, wicked existence. But scripture says our righteousness is like filthy rags, but His righteousness places us in right relationship with God so we can walk in freedom, healing, truth, blessing, and eternal life.
