Barbara noted that this is a very unusual time that we're all experiencing and as Jim pointed out, there's a huge public relations campaign under way by the federal government and the pharmaceutical companies -Operation Warp Speed- to have everyone obtain 2 doses of the COVID vaccine that was approved under an emergency use authorization.- -According to Barbara, just because you have an emergency use authorization approval, it doesn't mean that the vaccine has been formally licensed. Because of the pandemic, the companies are being allowed to 'fast-track' the vaccines to market so that they're available for all individuals who want to use them.
