The Apostle John gave a warning in 1 John 4-1- -Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God- because many false prophets are gone out into the world.---Other verses could be cited as well, but the warning is clear to cling to sound, biblical doctrine and to be alert to those who will corrupt it. Some do it in the open while others use deceit.--This Crosstalk comes as a warning regarding apostasy and those who seek to lure through having granules of truth for the purpose of taking people captive.
