In August 2023, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported a devastating decline of 17,000 jobs in the entertainment sector compared to July 2023.

The Los Angeles County of Economic Development Corporation emphasizes that the entertainment industry generates over $130 billion in economic activity annually and supports more than 600,000 jobs.
