Preparation continues for the football team, which plays host to No. 15 USC on Saturday and the final home game for 21 seniors. Hear from Jonathan Huckins and Afolabi Laguda. Jalen Thompkins from women’s soccer earned Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for the third straight week, the first Buff to accomplish that threepeat. The soccer team will host Denver Sunday at noon in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Four more Buffs received Pac-12 honors Tuesday, as well. The basketball teams have season openers this week. The men’s team has eight newcomers ready to hit the floor for the first time Friday against UNC at 6 p.m. The women’s team opens at Samford on Friday and follow that up at North Carolina on Sunday.
