The Cubs extended their losing streak to 11 games Tuesday night losing a barn burner 15-10 to the Phillies. Cubs' offense finally shows life, but Jake Arrieta and Trevor Williams did not help the cause. Arrieta couldn't get out of the second inning, Williams ate some innings but allowed seven earned runs in the process. Javy Baez went deep as he continues to look locked in at the plate. Perhaps the Cubs can break the streak tomorrow if the offense shows up again and Alec Mills delivers a strong outing. Perhaps.
