Cerith Wyn Evans is a Welsh conceptual artist, sculptor and filmmaker born in 1958. He represented Wales at the Venice Biennale in 2003 has had shows around the world, from the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, the Moscow and d’Istanbul biennials, the Serpentine Gallery and Tate Britain in London. He’s been working with neon since 1990 and unveils today Radiant Fold … “The Illuminating Gas”, a 4-piece suspended neon at the National Museum of Wales, in Cardiff.
