Watching the GuardianCon stream reminds of me of the fact that, as content creators, you have social influence. Whether you're big or small, you have social influence. It's up to you what you use that social influence for. There are a lot of folks out there that use their social influence for nefarious things, toxic things. We have an opportunity to use that influence to make the world a better place. I use what little influence I have to give people a place to belong.

My encouragement for you today is to consider your social influence and how you're using it. As you grow that influence, you have a choice to make.
