*)Rouhani says Trump's latest move is a mistake

The Trump administration has designated Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a "terrorist organisation."

It's the first time the US has ever done something like this.

Iran responded by saying the US is a "supporter of terrorism."

*)Israelis vote in a general election

Israel is voting in a general election.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will start a record fifth term if his right-wing and nationalist coalition wins.

The opposition is a centrist coalition led by ex-military chief Benny Gantz.

Some six million people are eligible to vote for the 120-seat parliament.

*)UN chief calls for immediate halt to Libya fighting

The UN has called for an end to violence between rival factions fighting for control of Libya's capital Tripoli.

Strongman Khalifa Haftar launched an offensive against the UN-backed government last week.

Aid agencies have reported that thousands of civilians have fled the capital.

*)Hong Kong Occupy leaders found guilty for role in mass rallies

A Hong Kong court has found nine pro-democracy activists guilty of conspiracy to commit a public nuisance.

It happened during the Umbrella Movement rallies in 2014 that shut down the city centre.

The protests were part of a move to keep China out of Hong Kong's domestic politics.

Beijing said it would not interfere for the first 50 years as part of a deal it cut when Britain returned its former colony to China in 1997.

*)Rhino poacher crushed by an elephant in South Africa

An elephant killed a rhino poacher in South Africa's Kruger National Park. Lions then ate the body.

The world's rhinos are in danger of being hunted to extinction.

Last year 769 rhinos were killed illegally. But that's down from more than 1,000 annually since 2013.
