It's Week 7 and our Minnesota Vikings are preparing for their final divisional road game. They head to Detroit to try to win their first divisional game after losing in Green Bay and Chicago. A tough one but thankfully, they're heating up.
Danielle Hunter, Everson Griffen, Eric Kendricks, Anthony Barr, Mackensie Alexander and Anthony Harris are ALL making plays for a Vikings defense that's starting to consistently display and elite form.
The kicking game with Dan Bailey and the rest of the Special Teams issues looks solve. Crossing our fingers here.
Kirk Cousins looks great, taking his play to a new level. That doesn't mean Kirk can do it all, but the Vikings can go far if he keeps it up with all the versatility at his fingertips. Gary Kubiak and Kevin Stefanski have all the weapons clicking. They can use Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, Alex Mattison, Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr. with confidence.
So what makes the most sense for Detroit? This is a Dalvin Cook game. Maybe Irv Smith Jr. can break out too.
Quick injury updates: Riley Reiff and Ben Gedeon should be monitored this week. Josh Kline will hopefully be back for Week 7 after missing the game against Philadelphia.
Other Good Games:
Saints at Bears
Ravens at Seahawks
Eagles at Cowboys
But the main event is Minnesota at Detroit. Need the corner backs to show up for this one! Skol Vikes.
