Good morning Horners! In this lost episode, where Drew, Ted and Dave recorded right after the Super Bowl and the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the San Francisco 49ers, the guys get into briefly the game play, but quickly morphed to how it applies the Minnesota Vikings. There were talks of coaching, players like Kirk Cousins and his weapons. Whether building an O-line to run is as advantageous as to one that could pass protect better? There was talk of the red ink in the cap situation and how likely there will be a good amount of new faces in 2020, at least on the defense. How over the years Vikings front office [Rick Spielman and staff] and coaching [Mike Zimmer and his multiple OCs] decisions led to this cap predicament. There are plenty of option to solve some of it, but running things back with all the same players won’t be one of them.

We congratulate Steve Hutchinson on making the Hall of Fame. He was so good and dominating. I’m sure many of you would love to have a left guard of his quality going into 2020. We finished with a heartfelt discussion of the passing of Chris Doleman, one of our favorite Vikings of time. Til Valhalla Chris!
