  Vikings vs Lions… Good morning Horners! David Blough and the Detroit Lions head into US Bank Stadium to take on your Minnesota Vikings. After a close game loss last Monday Night against the Seattle Seahawks, the Vikes are looking to making things right in the quarter of the season with 3 out of 4 games at home. This is the first of those 3 and all are against divisional opponents. It is time to get things done on both sides of the ball for Mike Zimmer’s team.

 The Good Morning Gjallarhorn gang previews this matchup. Can Matt Patricia get the Lions to play spoilers? Dave is worried that it could be the case. If Xavier Rhodes, coming fresh off his apology for his unprofessional play and behavior can defend effectively against Kenny Golladay, and the rest of the defense not make David Blough look good, the Vikings on paper and at home should take this game handily. But not wanting to offend any football gods, that was a should, but we know this is the type of game that can go wonky and a whole new set angst set in if it does. How does this game make you feel?

 Kirk Cousins will lead the offensive charge again and have just about all of his weapons. Riley Reiff, as of Friday was still questionable with a concussion, and Adam Thielen doubtful with his hamstring. As much as we all want to see AT back, we want it to be healthy for the post season that less an implosion by the Vikings, they are now headed for. Everyone else on the team is a full go for Sunday.

 Drew brought his $20,000 Pyramid game for Ted and Dave to test their knowledge. How quickly can you get the answers? Games in December are for the final push, so let’s see our Vikings do just that on Sunday. Enjoy the game and GO VIKINGS!
