SEX AND EMPOWERMENT - a podcast by Liz Beaver

I received a DM on International Women's Day asking why women post sexualized pictures on a day that is supposed to be about respecting women. I drop a little pearl of LIZDOM all up in your ears about what I think is behind these seemingly mixed messages. The disparity of power starts with sex and gender roles and we're seeing how change is clashing with tradition in real time. We're not always going to get it right, especially when we confuse empowerment with liberation.
