In the final hour, Dan Bernstein and Laurence Holmes were joined by Sun-Times writer Jason Lieser to discuss Bears coach Matt Eberflus' confusing press conference Wednesday, when Eberflus announced that quarterback Justin Fields is "not medically cleared" to play and is out against the Panthers on Thursday as he continues to recover from a dislocated right thumb. Undrafted rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent will make his fourth NFL start. However, Fields is listed as doubtful on the team's injury report. Later, Lieser shared his thoughts on beloved White Sox television play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti leaving the organization. Benetti has been hired to fill the same position for the Detroit Tigers.
