Walker was the second Bears assistant coach to suddenly depart the organization this season, as defensive coordinator Alan Williams abruptly resigned from his role in September. Lieser also reacted to the way Chicago's quarterback situation was portrayed during the NBC broadcast of the Bears-Chargers game last Sunday. While discussing undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent, NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth said, "They're gonna have Justin Fields study this guy."
