We start off with a less conventional badass, Bessie Stringfield who broke all the rules that a black woman in the first half of the 20th century was supposed to be following.Then we get into a wildwest law man, Bass Reeves. Bass was born into slavery, escaped and went on to be one of the most effective law dogs who was almost forgotten to history.
