Pascal Poolaw Sr. was a Native American that answered the call not once, not twice, but three times. He fought in WWII, Korea and finally in Vietnam, he is among the highest decorated Native American soldiers of all time.

Roy Benavidez grew up poor on a dirt farm in Texas and had to leave school young but, that didn't stop him from becoming one of the 200 plus men that was awarded the Medal of Honor during Vietnam and possibly the most wounded man we have ever talked about.
