The truth about our Father God is that He has the same purpose, models the perfect role as parent with us as well. As His children we are subject to His guidance, His leading, His discipline - "for God is working in you, giving you the desire and and the power to do what pleases Him." What gifts they are. To give us what we need to pattern our decisions by what He knows is best for our development and maturity.
