Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing Down's syndrome. Citing the story of Lauren Kenevil 2 months into her pregnancy she was told her fetus was Down's syndrome. She contacted Dr. Wallach who put her on a nutritional supplement program. Seven months later she gave birth to a perfectly normal baby boy. Contending Down's syndrome is due to nutritional deficiencies.



Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of asthma. Researchers found that those who consumed moderate amounts of sugary drinks sweetened with high fructose corn syrup have a 58% higher risk of asthma. Those consumed even more high fructose corn syrup had a 61% increased risk of asthma. This is all part of the Framingham Heart Study.
