Ep. 75: Brazil and the Rise of Authoritarian Neoliberalism w/ Alex Hochuli - a podcast by Dead Pundits Society
from 2018-11-01T09:58:15
Joining us this week to talk about the election of far right Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil is Alex Hochuli, who lives in São Paulo and hosts the Aufhebungabunga podcast. We discuss the ruling class conspiracy that led to the fall of both Lula and Dilma of the Worker's Party (PT) and the failures of the neoliberal centrists in containing the crisis that they, themselves, created. Finally, we develop "neoliberal authoritarianism" as the neo-fascism of the 21st century.
