The 1984-1985 era of Peter Criss' life is a bit of a mystery. Reuniting with songwriting partner Stan "Doc" Penridge, they formed a band dubbed The Desperate Men in Nashville that had a much different sound than what KISS fans were accustomed to. Additionally, the band name changed to Alliance in the process. They would make their live debut at a radio festival in Nashville titled One for the Sun. Also on the bill, RATT and Alcatrazz; but this band sounded much different. After the Music City debut, Alliance would go on to perform just a handful of dates after recording some demos.
