One rescue can change a universe! On a visit to Afghanistan in 2008 Tony Stark is rescued from an attack by Lieutenant Eric Stevens, codename Killmonger.

Killmonger uncovered a plot by Stark Industries COO Obadiah Stane to remove Tony from the company. Erik is rewarded for his discovery with the role of COO as Stane is arrested.Working together the killer leaders create an automated combat drone led by JARVIS’ A.I. and powered by vibranium from Wakanda. In order to create an army of these soldiers they make a deal with Ulysses Klaw using Lieutenant James Rhodes to hide their involvement.

Black Panther arrives to break up the deal and retrieve the stolen vibranium from Klaw, but Killmonger is waiting and executes both James Rhodes and T’Challa. He returns to Stark Industries and kills Tony Stark blaming his murder on retaliation from the Wakandans.Killmonger gains access to Wakanda by using Ulysses Klaw but kills him and offers him up to the Dora Milaje in return for a meeting with King T’Chaka. Erik reveals he is the lost nephew of T’Chaka and wants his place in their society.

With the US and Wakanda on the precipice of war, the US creates the robot army and sends them to the outskirts of the hidden city. Killmonger convinces the Wakandan leaders to allow the army in, cutting off their connection to external satellites. As the Wakandan’s defeat the robot army, T’Chaka selects Erik Killmonger as the next Black Panther. But the young princess Shuri is not convinced of Erik’s intentions and shares the murders he committed on his quest for power with Pepper Potts.
