Episode Written by: Brian Tucker and Brant EnglesteinIn 1997, two years after the Skrulls first arrived on earth, Varra introduces Fury to a young Skrull named Gravik. Fury consoles him over the loss of his parents and then gives a speech to the assembled Skrulls promising that in return for their help saving earth, he and Carol Danvers will find them a new home.

In the present day, after escaping from the bombing attack on Reunification Square in Moscow, Fury learns from Talos that there are more than a million Skrulls secretly living on Earth amongst the humans. Angered at Talos’ deception, Fury kicks Talos from the Train.Gravik meets with members of the Skrull Council, a group of Skrulls who are in high political positions across the world. Some express their disapproval of his unsanctioned bombings which may reveal their presence to the humans. Gravik reminds the Council of Fury's failure to deliver on his promise to find them a home and the Skrull posing as the UK Prime Minister proposes Gravik as the new Skrull General.

Most of the Council agree but one member, Shirley Sagar, refuses to submit and support the coup. She is allowed to leave unharmed and G’iah sees her leave. Shirley secretly contacts Talos who asks her to set up a meeting in a public place between him and Gravik.Meanwhile in London Colonel James Rhodes is interrogated by the joint national leaders about the United States role in the Moscow explosions. But Colonel Rhodes gives them nothing but sensitivity to their concerns.

Following the hearing Fury meets with Rhodes to explain the Skrull threat. But to Fury's dismay, Rhodes gives him a military discharge. He believes Fury is overstepping his remit and can not manage a threat like this. Fury leaves angry at another betrayal.

Back in Moscow Russian agents interrogate the Skrull, Brogan who is posing as an American citizen, believing he is responsible for the attack. Sonya Falsworth arrives at the butcher shop where the prisoner is being tortured. She stops the Russians from beating the meat and proceeds to question Brogan. Using her persuasive methods she learns that Gravik is building a machine for the purpose of strengthening the Skrulls and a scientist couple named Dalton is involved.G'iah also secretly discovers that the scientists are experimenting on various alien samples like Groot, the Frost Beast, Cull Obsidian, and the Extremis Virus. Afterwards, she accompanies Gravik on a mission to rescue Brogan as Falsworth escapes. Suspecting him of having talked, Gravik has Brogan executed by Pagon before they can reach their compound.
