With the encouragement of her father, Brooke started the process and within one month of treatments, she was already seeing results, and within a year, she was almost fully recovered. But the healing didn’t stop there - we also talk about the emotional toll of having chronic illness and how a necessary part of the healing process comes from addressing the trauma of living with chronic pain. Brooke tells us how she had to change both her perspective and many of her lifestyle choices to become the person she is today.
