He is a founder, diplomate and past president of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, founder and diplomate of the World Clinical Laser Institute and a board of director member, founder and past president , diplomate of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Society Of Laser Applications, , Society of Laser Surgery in Medicine , American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and many other national and international organizations. He has been voted Clinician of the Year , and  winner of the distinguished service award of numerous organizations. In addition to private practice , l, rated annually number one in the United States. He lectures on a weekly basis throughout  the world on laser dentistry and is on the editorial boards of numerous journals. He is the founder and co director of RKN seminars and has trained many hundreds of dentists in the use of lasers. He has been selected by Dentistry Today as a top clinician in Dental Education for 12 years in a row.
