Most listeners to Destination Unlimited practice some form of meditation and probably have for many years if not decades. You may practice TM, or Zazen or some basic yogic meditation. Is your practice satisfying? Does it promote the healing and state of well-being and spiritual connection that you are seeking?

My guest this week, Lisa Wimberger, has innovated modern meditation utilizing the latest research in neuro-science as an answer to bring deep healing to victims of trauma. Based on 30 years of experience in various forms of meditation, she developed NeurosculptingⓇ as a way to heal herself from seizures where conventional medicine had failed.

Lisa began teaching NeurosculptingⓇ in 2007 to law enforcement, military veterans, and other first responders as a practical way to manage emotional healing from trauma and PTSD. The Neurosculpting InstituteⓇ has partnered with psychologists, nutritionists, and yoga instructors to create a whole-brain approach to health and wellness that is non-dogmatic.

Neurosculpting has successfully helped people in trauma-centric vocations, traumatic brain injury patients, athletes, refugees, and people of all walks of life to manage and heal from daily stress and negative emotions.
