Eps. 08 - The Benefits of a Consistent Gratitude Practice (solo dig) - a podcast by Taylor Winchester (T. Dubya)

I just realized that this week marks the two month mark since I started my deep dive into my primordial sound mantra based meditation practice!! It’s difficult to quantify or articulate the exact impact it’s had on me thus far, but I do know I’m loving the exploration.

On this week’s Dharma Digs episode I share the four soul questions that we ask ourselves as we engage in our daily meditation practice, one of which is - What am I grateful for?

It’s been interesting to answer that question consistently on a daily basis for the last two months, when in years past I likely only asked every so often...perhaps even only annually around the Thanksgiving holiday.

One thing I’ve certainly recognized is that establishing intentional awareness around gratitude creates an ease of leaning in to “going with the flow” while finding a way of bringing to light a sense of joy and peace within.

I may also be realizing that the real purpose behind this recent podcast endeavor is to not only indulge in conversations with others around the very idea of purpose itself, but also to hold myself accountable along this journey of  deeper understanding of being.

"For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.”
