Born in Detroit, Michigan, Andy moved to San Diego at a young age and started wrestling in high school. Later he transition to Brazilian jiu-jitsu under the tutelage of Dean Lister.Andy knew that owning a gym would be his lifelong passion after his first day at Dean Lister’s gym.
As an overweight child Andy’s training philosophy encourages his students to find happiness in their own self care and personal growth.Motivated by his passion, Andy shares how he fought three major fights in three months just to keep his gym open.
