Why did God not punish Abram when he lied about Sarai being his sister? - a podcast by RJS

A lot of questions on this part of the Bible. Maybe Sarai liked being in the Haram? Back then, woman were property. Then again why the blight to Pharaoh’s fields? He didn’t know Sarai was the wife of Abram. Maybe she prayed to be free? No matter how messed up we are as people, God’s plan was the children of Abraham and Sarah will be the chosen…but how odd is this story. Gives me hope for my flawed self.
