In this first episode of 2021 I talked with photographer, show producer and comedy lover Mandee Johnson (@mandeephoto) about her book Super Serious: An Oral History of Los Angeles Independent Stand-up Comedy. The book is an amazing coffee table-style book of photographs and oral history interviews with people who performed at her coproduced show, Super Serious from 2010-20. The book was one of my favorite of 2020 and a must for independent and alt comedy fans. You can pick it up wherever books are sold online.
