In this week’s episode of Double Tap Canada, Steven, Shaun & Tim discuss, argue and laugh their way through this weeks tech news. But just what is distracting Steven?

First up, with Steven & Tim both grabbing the new iPhone SE, does it live up to the hype and will Steven really dump his iPhone 11 Pro in favor of the more affordable offering from Apple? Also, can the rumors of a lower starting price for the upcoming iPhone 12 be true?

Moving away from Apple, it’s on to the Pixel 4A. With the success of the Pixel 3 & 3A, can Google deliver another excellent, feature rich smartphone at a truly affordable price? Shaun seems to think so.

Next, it’s on to iOS 13.5 and it’s inclusion of a contact tracing API. This allows app developers to create apps with the ability to keep track of who you are in contact with, how long for and how close to them you were. Can this really help with the fight against the Corona virus and are people right to be concerned about privacy?

Finally, with the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6 rumored to be announced in June, what do we expect it to offer? Sleep tracking seems to be almost certain, but why does this feature make Shaun yawn?
