We took a look at some of the classic female comedians who set the foundation for modern comedy (Mary Tyler Moore, and Lucille Ball), and then talked through some of our favorite modern examples of female-led comedies.

We also heard from our listeners as they shared their favorite female comedies and paritcipated in a poll:

“For the dudes out there, are you LESS likely to watch a female-led comedy? (This is a safe place)”

71% said, “I see them the same as any comedy.”

20% said, “I don’t prefer them.”

9% said, “I’m afraid to answer.”
