Can coaching make you faster? I don’t think I’m alone in wanting to be faster on my bike. So in this episode, I took a coaching session with Laurie Greenland’s coach, Olly Morris. We sat down afterwards to discuss the process we went through. Find out how Olly identified areas that could be improved and the exercises that he used to help me. It was a really interesting day for me, and quite different from what I expected. We also discuss coaching in general, and hopefully give you some good pointers if you’re interested in taking on some coaching yourself, be it to go faster or for other reasons. So sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Olly Morris.

You can find Olly on Instagram @ollym1 and his company ProRide @proridemtbcoaching. They are also on Facebook here.

Their website is over at proridemtb.com.

Muc-Off have just launched Punk Powder, their first plastic free bike cleaner. Punk Powder has enabled Muc-Off to cut down on packaging for their cleaner by 92%. It comes in small sachets that you add to lukewarm water to make 1L of cleaner, and the cleaner itself is readily bio-degradable and made from plant-based ingredients. So you can hop onto muc-off.com and grab yourself a lovely aluminium bottle for life which is perfect to mix and store the cleaner in, along with some compostable Punk Powder sachets, which come in a handy recycled cardboard sleeve that folds into a funnel to help you pour the powder into the bottle.
