This week we got together with illustrator, comic book artist, tattoo artist, teacher and all-around-what-HAVEN’T-they-done creative professional Apila Pepita to pick their brain about how to publish your own books and comics, how to build the perfect portfolio, and their experience of working in commercial illustration, and so much more! In fact, we had so much to talk about, this week’s episode is just gonna be part one, with the rest to follow next week!

We also have a few announcements.

Due to the current situation with the pandemic and having to isolate, we are unfortunately not able to meet and record video episodes, so for the time being we will do it in audio-only format. We are recording in our own homes with separate setups, so the sound quality is going to be a bit different for the two of us, since we are talking to each other on video call. Please bear with us as we make it work given the current situation. We will return to filming video episodes as soon as we can meet in person again.
