Dan Coviello is an emerging leader, committed to building equitable communities and helping people achieve this basic need. Dan is currently helping startups in the healthcare space through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas venture capital arm, New Ventures Initiative.Dan has spoken at the United Nations, Yale, and youth leadership events in the United States and internationally. Dan has been recognized as a Newman Civic Fellow, served on non-profit boards, and is currently serving on the Lawrence Kansas Human Relations Commission.

Originally from Brick, New Jersey, Dan graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelors in Environmental Engineering and a Masters in Environmental Policy. Now, Dan is completing an MBA at the University of Kansas and is pursuing a career in healthcare administration. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife Camille and their cat Oliver.
