Episode #45.   Our guest on the podcast drums it all, Aaron Edgar teaches online on Drumeo and his YouTube channel which has 2 million views and 13,000 subscribers, and the drummer for Canadian prog-metal band Third Ion. He's also is a published author and a regular poly-rhythm columnist for Modern Drummer. 

When he's not teaching and he's drumming for Canadian prog-metal band Third Ion, where he showcases some of his most rhythmically adventurous playings. The resulting sound is heavily polyrhythmic, including a song almost entirely based in quintuplets called Van Halien, from their debut release, 13/8 bit. 

Also on the mid-show rum review, Alex from The Rum Barrel reviews the Appleton Estate 8-year-old.
