Evanna Lynch is an Irish actress and vegan activist who rose to fame while playing Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films. Since we last spoke in 2017, Evanna was on the 27th season of Dancing With The Stars, she started the vegan beauty company Kinder Beauty Box, and is about to launch season 3 of her popular podcast the ChickPeeps Podcast. We talk about why she went vegan years ago, when and why she decided to use her platform to speak out about veganism, why she decided to go on Dancing With The Stars and what she learned from it, why she started Kinder Beauty Box with fellow actress Daniella Monet, what we should be aware of about the skincare products we use, how she handles hate and negativity, why angry vegans are important, why solving human rights issues and animal rights issues can happen in tandem, the exploding vegan scene in London, and why sometimes she wishes she could disappear and work as a waitress. Evanna is someone who deliberately uses her massive platform and talents to promote compassion, and I have massive respect for that.
