We are part dust, blood, brain
We Are part heart, part hand, part head
The three basic needs of every human: love, security, worth
We are more similar than we are different
Triads- Heart, Head, and Gut

HEART
Driven by your Feelings
You avoid shame at all costs
When I don’t feel it, I should lean on my mind to remember God’s truth and promises

HEAD
Driven by security
You avoid experiencing fear
When I am uncertain and I don’t have the answer, I should lean on my gut and follow God’s voice.

GUT
Driven by Control
You avoid Chaos
When I am angry, stop and lean on my heart to feel God’s acceptance

Human Reactions: Fear, Shame, Anger
God’s Response:
Calls us by name
Gives us another chance
Covers us with forgiveness
Directs and leads us
