Associate Prof James Fallon, Research Director), whose research strength is chronic stimulation and electrophysiology in pre-clinical models. his work examines the changes in the central auditory pathway as a result of long-term deafness and cochlear implant use, and has extended his research to include visual prostheses.

Dr Maureen Shader, Post-doctoral Research Fellow, her current project aims to address the poor outcomes of new cochlear implant users, by developing diagnostic tests and piloting novel sound processing strategies that are matched with the individual diagnoses.

Third guest is Dr Kathryn Snow from the Justice Health Unit, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the Centre for International Child Health, Department of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne. Visiting to discuss COVID19, and cover the following:
