Her research focus is the conservation of Antarctic and sub-Antarctic terrestrial ecosystems. She is interested in understanding the way in which species interact with each other and their role in ecosystem function, specifically the risks posed by non-native species to Antarctic protected areas and the role of climatic change in conservation planning for Antarctica.
