Dr Shane is joined by Dr Ailie and Dr Ray, to chat about Antarctica's Larsen C Ice Shelf, new insights into the evolution of gills, the proposed continent of Zealandia, and the newly discovered Trappist 1 planetary system.

The team talk to Dr Ronelle Welton from the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, University of Melbourne, about the Australian Venomous Injury Project (AVIP). The project aims to develop a comprehensive epidemiological, sociological and geospatial system for collating, curating and analysing venomous bite and sting related injury datasets from multiple sources.

They also interview Dr Robyn Schofield from the School of Earth Sciences at The University of Melbourne about the damage to the atmosphere resulting from the use of fossil fuels, and what society can do about it.
